Hi, I’m Lazar, the founder and instructor behind Sea Fox. With a strong background in swim instruction and aquatics supervision, I take a calm, encouraging approach to helping you grow in the water. Whether you’re learning to feel comfortable for the first time or refining your technique, every lesson is fully tailored to your pace, ability, and personal goals.

Booking details
Here’s how rescheduling and account credits work.
14+ days before your lesson
Receive 100% account credit or reschedule.
7–13 days before your lesson
Receive 50% of the lesson value as account credit.
Less than 7 days
No refund, account credit or reschedule.
Full cancellation, credit and lesson details
Notice periods are measured from when Sea Fox receives your cancellation to the scheduled lesson.
No-shows
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without notice does not qualify for a refund or account credit.
Account credits
Account credits are non-refundable, cannot be transferred, and expire after 6 months.
If we fill your cancelled slot
If Sea Fox successfully fills your cancelled slot, Sea Fox may restore additional or full account credit at its discretion.
Illness and emergencies
Illness and emergencies do not automatically exempt a booking from the cancellation policy. Sea Fox may make exceptions at its discretion. Please do not attend with a fever, vomiting/diarrhea, a known contagious illness or another condition that makes swimming unsafe.
2 Swimmers reservations
A single 2 Swimmers lesson is one $150 reservation for up to two swimmers. If one swimmer cancels, the price remains $150 and the other swimmer may still attend. Package bookings retain their booked package rate if one swimmer cancels. Cancellation of the entire reservation follows the notice periods above.
Sea Fox or pool cancellation
If Sea Fox or the pool cancels your lesson, you receive a full reschedule or full account credit. A refund is available if Sea Fox cannot reasonably provide a replacement.
Late arrivals
Late arrival does not move, extend or reduce the price of the lesson. The lesson still ends at its scheduled time.
Safety & behaviour
Safe lessons come first.
Follow directions from Sea Fox instructors and facility staff.
Follow all posted pool rules, including deck, diving, entry and equipment rules.
No horseplay, pushing, intentional submersion, breath-holding contests, harassment or unsafe conduct.
Remain in the designated lesson area unless directed otherwise.
Report injury, illness, damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.
Sea Fox may pause or end a lesson if behaviour creates a safety risk. Lessons ended for serious unsafe behaviour are not refundable.

Sea Fox requires the applicable waiver/consent and swimmer intake information before participation. The current forms are marked as drafts for final legal and insurance review before public launch.

Before your first lesson
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are offered at a partner indoor swimming pool in Richmond, BC. Exact location and access details are provided with a confirmed booking.
Are lessons confirmed immediately?
No. Sea Fox first confirms pool availability. Once the time is approved, required forms and payment are completed to secure the lesson.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. Private instruction can be tailored to adult beginners, water confidence, stroke development or specific swimming goals.
What happens if I cancel?
With 14+ days notice, receive 100% account credit or reschedule. With 7–13 days notice, receive 50% account credit. Less than 7 days before the lesson, there is no refund, credit or reschedule. No-shows receive no refund or credit. Read the full cancellation and credit policy for discretionary exceptions and other terms.
What if one swimmer cannot attend?
A single 2 Swimmers lesson is one $150 reservation. If one swimmer cancels, the price remains $150 and the other swimmer may still attend. Within a four-lesson package, the booked rate remains $125 per lesson total.
How do the four-lesson packages work?
Each package includes four 60-minute lessons: $400 total for Private or $500 total for 2 Swimmers. Sea Fox confirms pool availability and your proposed schedule before payment. The existing booking and cancellation policies apply.
What if the pool closes?
If Sea Fox or the pool cancels your lesson, you receive a full reschedule or full account credit. A refund is available if Sea Fox cannot reasonably provide a replacement.
